A member of last year’s edition of the MTN/Metro TV Sports Academy reality show, Enoch Ayeni has been confirmed dead.
He was found floating on a river in Thailand where he had gone to continue his football career.
Even though sources claim the incident took place on 15th October, 2009, family members of the deceased were informed only on Tuesday, 24th November, 2009.
The family suspects the deceased was murdered and damped into the river.
They told Joy News’ Upper East Regional correspondent Joseph Osei that the deceased had early on informed them of threats on his life.
Pictures available to the correspondent indicate Enoch Ayeni had suffered some bruises and a broken neck.
The family is however yet to cause any investigations into the matter.
