Information reaching the New Crusading GUIDE indicates that Nana Boakye Yiadom, a man who claimed to be a staff at the office of the Vice-President, John Dramani Mahama, and has been going round collecting huge sums of money from some Ghanaian businessmen and women ostensibly to help them purchase some of the government seized cars is wanted.
Nana Boakye Yiadom who started this dubious business early this year when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) took over power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has not been able to release even one car to the people he allegedly signed the deal with.
He has also vanished from his Sakumono residence in Accra.
Meanwhile, the Tema Circuit Court presided over by Mrs. Laurenda Owusu has cautioned Nana Boakye Yiadom to surrender himself to the circuit court before the security agents are unleashed on him.
One of the victims who paid GH¢ 20,000.00 to the fraudster, told the New Crusading GUIDE that she was approached by Boakye Yiadom with a letter from the office of the Vice-President claiming he had been given the mandate to take charge of the selling of the seized cars at the Tema Port. But this turned out to be untrue, the paper said.
According to the victim (name withheld) she paid the said amount to Mr. Boakye Yiadom early July this year. "Since then I have never set an eye on him until he was arrested by the police."
The victim continued that he was given bail by a friend. Even though his case has been processed for court, he has never turned up.
