The Ghana International Airline (GIA) has announced plans to consolidate its good image and reputation by building a strong and efficient company.
GIA plans to attain efficient operations and compete favourably with other renowned Airlines in the world.
At a forum in London, the Sales and Marketing Manager of GIA, Titus Sowatei Adjei, outlined the success chalked so far by the company, noting, “The Airline has positive prospects.”
He said: “We are working hard to justify why Ghanaians should use this Airline because we don’t want them to use the Airline simply because it is a Ghanaian company.
There is the need to give passengers good reasons to use GIA and we have proven that in the past.”
Mr. Adjei explained that the facilities and services on GIA were comparable to any other Airline in the world.
He explained that the opening of a new route to Düsseldorf in Germany has added another constructive dimension to the operations of the Airline, stressing, “It has expanded our operations and boosted the travel plans of our numerous passengers.”
The Sales and Marketing Manager announced that the Airline had bus services in Düsseldorf and other parts of Europe including Hamburg and Amsterdam to facilitate the travelling of passengers from these areas to Ghana.
He mentioned that GIA had agreed with other European Airlines to carry passengers to other destinations where the Airline was not operating.
