President Mills will pay a two-day working visit to the Central Region from Friday 11th to 13th September 2009.
According to the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Mahama Ayariga, who disclosed this to the media in Accra, the activities lined up for the President includes the following:
A courtesy call on the Omanhene and Chiefs and people of Gomoa Akyimpim state, a durbar with the people of Ekumfi traditional area, interaction with Chief Fishermen and the Canoe Owners, and representatives of premix landing beach committee in Cape Coast.
The presidential spokesperson noted that President Mills would, on his second day, address the chiefs and people of Mankessim Traditional area, at the Borbor Fante Akwambo festival. It would be held at the Mankessim lorry park.
