Real Madrid beat Rayo Vallecano 2-0 in a high tempo, hugely controversial game at the Campo De Vallecas, Wednesday to keep the title chase still on.
The game was heated and barren in the first half. The second half was a different story.
The highlight of that game, however, would certainly be the controversial yellow card shown to Christiano Ronaldo ostensibly for diving.
Despite a contact from a sliding tackle which saw the Real Madrid lynchpin tumbling down in the vital area, the referee decided Ronaldo needed a yellow card more than he needed a penalty.
Real have appealed that decision which is likely to rule him out of the home game against Eibar.
Watch the video for that controversial decision.
