The male national Under-20 team have had their build up and participation at next month’s World Youth Championship insured.
Local insurance firm, Gemini Life Insurance Company – Glico, on Friday presented the Ghana Football Association with an accident insurance package for the team.
Glico’s accident cover is worth GH¢200,000 as the insurance company maintains its eight-year association with the sport body.
The Black Satellites were also presented with a GH¢2,000 by Glico.
Ghana, African Champions will camp at the ASPIRE football academy beginning this weekend in Qatar before Sellas Tetteh prunes his squad to 21 for the World Youth Championship which starts on September 24.
The Black Satellites are in Group D alongside, England, Uzbekistan and Uruguay in the tournament which has24 sides placed into six groups of four.
