A police armoured car had to convey Asante Kotoko players out of the Baba Yara Stadium after colossally disappointing fans following their elimination from the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors were beaten 2-1 in front of a partisan crowd by Algerian side MC El Eulma to be eliminated by the same scoreline on aggregate after a 0-0 first leg result.
The exasperated fans wanted to vent their spleen on players after questioning their commitment levels.
