Sellas Tetteh's charges had a useful workout in Sofia as their first match of their preparation for the World Youth Championship ended in win against Bulgarian side.
The Ghana Under-20 coach was able to have a look at regular squad members as the Black Satellites survived an early scare to beat Bulgaria 2-1 on Tuesday night in an international friendly.
After five minutes, the hosts were up by a goal but the Black Satellites turned things around in the second half.
Sellas made several changes in the second half with Abeiku Quansah, Ishmael Yartey and Daniel Opare all given some minutes.
Portugal-based winger Yartey drew Ghana level before striker Dominic Adiyiah produced the winner for the Black Satellites.
