Ghana international midfielder Ahmed Barusso has joined Italian Serie B side Brescia on loan.
The 24-year-old signed the season-long deal from Serie A club Roma with a view to a permanent transfer.
"This is a very important move for me as I want to work my way back to the top of my game," Barusso said.
"I have gone through some hard times over the past two years so this Brescia move gives me the opportunity to regain my place at the top."
Roma signed Barusso from Rimini in June 2007 after the midfielder excelled for the Serie B side in the 2006/2007 season.
But he failed to settle at the Serie A club and spent most of last season on loan at Siena.
The midfielder has struggled with breaking into the first team of Roma and went out on loan to Turkish side Galatasary in his first season at the club.
