An airline crew member has been arrested at Gatwick Airport after cocaine with an estimated street value of £40,000 was seized.
The crew member was held after UK Border Agency officers found 2.2lb (1kg) of the drug in baggage at the West Sussex airport.
It followed the arrival of a Ghana Airways flight from Accra.
The case has been passed to HM Revenue and Customs, whose officers will interview the crew member in custody.
