Hearts of Oak suffered their third defeat in their last four games following a loss to Nations FC on Thursday, April 3.
Razak Simpson scored the only goal of the game as the Abrankese-based side picked up all three points at the Tuba AstroTurf.
Nations FC came into the game with just one win from their last three games losing one and drawing the other.
Hearts, on the other hand, had lost two of their three games and were looking to get back to winning ways.
Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was not in the Phobians’ squad for the fixture.
The two teams treated fans to an action-packed atmosphere in the opening 45 minutes of the game.
However, neither of the side was able to score a goal as they went into the break at 0-0.
The second half was no different with end-to-end stuff with the away side creating more than Hearts.
The breakthrough then came in the 65th minute with Simpson blasting the ball from over 30 years out into the top corner to give Nations FC the lead.
Despite a late charge, Hearts were unable to draw level with the away side claiming their first victory over the Phobians.
The result sees Nations FC rise to fourth on the league table with Hearts sitting in third.
