Ambrose Edwin Nsarkoh has been appointed as the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).
This appointment aims to further enhance the company’s strategic direction and operational efficiency, as well as to support the Government’s overall vision of making Ghanaian brands and products globally competitive.
Ambrose Nsarkoh’s career spans several positions across diverse industries, including operations, human resources, and business development. He brings extensive leadership experience, having previously served as the Human Resource Manager at Bloj Company Limited from December 2022 to April 2024, where he led the management of HR issues and employee performance across multiple operational sites.
Prior to this, Ambrose Nsarkoh worked as the Operations Support Superintendent at Rabotec Group of Companies, where he managed administrative tasks and streamlined operations to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
In addition to his work in HR and operations, the newly appointed Deputy CEO of GEPA also has substantial experience in development finance. He earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School in 2012.
As the Deputy CEO, Ambrose Nsarkoh will be instrumental in shaping the company’s strategy, focusing on optimizing operational efficiencies and strengthening the export readiness of Ghanaian brands.
“I look forward to collaborating with the talented team here at GEPA to drive continued growth, reposition Ghana’s export market to be globally competitive, and deliver on our mandate to the Ghanaian people, as well as on the President’s reset agenda,” he said.
Ambrose Nsarkoh is a product of Apam Senior High School and the University of Ghana. He obtained his MSc in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School in 2012, and also holds an MSc in Management and Human Resource Strategy from the KNUST Business School.

About GEPA
The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) is the National Export Trade Support Institution of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI), responsible for the facilitation, development, and promotion of Ghanaian exports.
It was established by Act 396 in 1969 as an agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry with the mandate to develop and promote Ghanaian exports. GEPA’s focus has primarily been on diversifying Ghana’s export base beyond traditional exports such as gold, other unprocessed minerals, cocoa beans, timber logs, and lumber.
