The much-anticipated National Economic Dialogue 2025 has taken off at the Accra International Conference Centre, bringing together leading economic experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to tackle Ghana’s pressing economic challenges.
Chaired by President John Mahama, the forum is centered on the theme “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”
Discussions will focus on key areas such as macroeconomic stability, economic transformation, infrastructure development, structural reforms, private sector growth, and governance.
A distinguished panel of speakers, including Leslie Dwight Mensah, Professor Ebo Turkson, Abena Osei-Poku, David Ofosu-Dorte, Dr Elikplim Kwabla Apetorgbor, and Franklin Cudjoe, will present insights and policy recommendations aimed at shaping Ghana’s economic future.
Expert moderators will guide the discussions, with notable figures such as Dr Paul Acquah, former Governor of the Bank of Ghana under the Kufour administration, Dr Edward K. Brown, Mr Joe Mensah, Mr Felix Addo, Professor K. K. Sarpong, and Dr Emmanuel Akwetey of the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG) playing key roles in steering deliberations.
