Ghanaian actor, James Gardiner, has confirmed reports of his appointment as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, in a recent Facebook post.
In the post made on Friday, February 28, 2025, he wrote: "To God be all the Glory! Thank you all for your congratulatory messages! #NFA #DeputyExecutiveSecretary."
James Gardiner, born on May 16, 1984, in Accra, began his acting career in the mid-2000s and shot into the limelight for his talent, charm, and versatility as an actor.
James has featured in many movies, showcasing his ability to portray diverse characters. He is known for his captivating screen presence and has earned praise for his performances in both lead and supporting roles.
Some of his notable films include 'Broken Mirror', 'Happy Deathday', 'Pretty Queen', 'My Husband’s Secret,' and 'Sin of the Soul', 'One Night Guests', among others.
In addition to his success in acting, James Gardiner is also a model, event MC and presenter. He has appeared in several advertising campaigns and has ventured into business endeavors outside of the entertainment industry.
He attended St. Augustine College and the University of Cape Coast.
The Ghana National Film Authority (NFA) is an organisation responsible for regulating, promoting, and supporting the film industry in Ghana.
Established under the Development and Classification of Film Act, 2016 (Act 935), the NFA aims to ensure the growth and sustainability of the film sector in Ghana.
