The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the termination of all volunteer appointments, effective February 28, 2025, as part of an ongoing restructuring programme.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Director General, Felix Gyamfi.

The statement explained that the termination affects all volunteers except in districts where only one staff member is managing operations.
“Such districts will retain one volunteer assistant. Additionally, vacant districts will be allowed to maintain one assistant, a cleaner, catering staff, and farm personnel,” it added.
The Authority expressed appreciation to its volunteers for their dedication and hard work, acknowledging their contributions.
In line with the termination, Heads of Departments (HODs), unit heads, and regional directors have been directed to ensure that all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, are returned before the deadline.
