The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South in the Oti Region, Geoffrey Kini, has donated relief items to families affected by the recent renewed tribal conflict in the area.
The conflict has left many residents in dire need of assistance for survival, prompting both the government and the legislature to take swift action to alleviate the suffering of the people.
The essential relief items include 300 bags of rice, bars of soap, cooking oil, buckets, 1,000 blankets, mosquito coils and nets, 1,000 plastic cups, plates, and second-hand clothing.

The donation, made through the National Security, aimed to provide immediate support to those who are unable to meet their basic needs in the aftermath of the conflict.
Mr. Kini expressed the government's deep concern for the well-being of the affected families.
He emphasised the importance of unity and resilience in the face of adversity, urging chiefs and community leaders to come together to support one another during these challenging times.
