Ghanaian producer and musician Skonti has opened up about his decision to put his music career on hold to manage fellow artiste Kwaw Kese.
In a conversation with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, Skonti revealed that he made the decision without even discussing it with Kwaw Kese.
"So I decided let's do this. I didn't even tell him I'm putting my career on hold; I just realized I had to put my career on hold and do it," he said.
As a producer, Skonti believes that his stronghold is in producing music.
"Every producer can do a little bit of music if they want to put their mind to it," he stated.
Skonti has been managing Kwaw Kese for about three years now and has learned a lot from the experience.
"I managed too; I've been managing Kwaw Kese for some time now, about three years now. It's been tough, but at least it's teaching me a lot and enhancing my craft and whatever I want to do," he added.
Despite putting his music career on hold, Skonti claimed that his fans have missed him and have been asking him to release new music.
"After 'Dondo,' I haven't dropped anything," he asserted.
Skonti has been producing music for Kwaw Kese, including the hit song 'Awoyo Sofo', which was one of the biggest songs trending in Ghana last year.
