Betway Ghana has opened an ultra-modern customer experience centre in Sunyani in the Bono Region to increase the experience of watching live or replay football matches.
The centre, located in the heart of Sunyani, in an area called Rex, near the Cocoaboard office, will have a staff strength of 13, with 9 being indigenes of Sunyani.
Country Manager-Operations, Magnus Rex Danquah Jnr, said as a brand, they take pride in giving experience to their clients and partners either on the online portal or the experience centres that can't be found elsewhere.
He said they operate a rigorous system that ensures that customer agents verify the identity cards and phone numbers of patrons to ensure no minor is allowed at the centre.
"You can't come in and inconvenience anybody; there is no eating or drinking (save water) here; maximum respect is required at all times", he noted during the opening ceremony of the centre.

The centre, as part of Betway's 10 years in the business, brings to four experience centres - Kumasi, Accra, Takoradi, and now Sunyani, where, aside from watching football and playing virtual games, there are designated areas for picture-taking.
Betway Ghana is not new to Sunyani as it has in the past organised one of the best football talent searches with Stephen Appiah and Mohammed Gago, among others, which successfully unearthed many talents who are doing very well around the world.
"Sunyani is not strange to us. We have been doing a lot of operations here but finally decided that we needed a footprint here that would make Sunyani proud, hence the centre".
Rex Danquah, however, explained that the centre is not a betting centre.
"We don't bet here. Just come and watch your favourite team play; a customer care agent could even assist you if need be, among others, either at the main centre or the VIP lounge", he explained.

He said they are in Sunyani to help in development through their social responsibilities and community engagements, such as the Easter gala and sports clinics to empower talents in all sports disciplines.
Betway brand ambassador Stephen Appiah expressed his delight in using his influence to contribute to the idea of giving back to the community.
"We want to see more Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, and other top names in the other disciplines, and I am excited to help", he noted.
The Former captain of the Black Stars said the experience of watching some of these big-name players at the centre will motivate the youth to work hard and get to the top where they could also be watched at such experience centres.

A delegation from the Sunyani Traditional Council led by Nana Kwame Baah Nyantakyi (Youth Chief) graced the ceremony with their blessing and called on Betway Ghana to collaborate with the council in the discharge of their corporate social responsibilities.
A representative from the Gaming Commission, Abdul Yakubu, assured of their commitment to ensuring regulated and fair practice within the industry as practised by Betway Ghana.
Some community members who experienced the centre in the EPL game between Brighton and Chelsea, on Friday night, expressed satisfaction and thanked Betway Ghana for the centre in Sunyani.
