Finance Minister-designate, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Monday, January 13, 2025.
This signals the start of the vetting process for his anticipated role.
His nomination was part of President John Mahama’s recent appointments, which also included John Abdulai Jinapor as the Minister-designate for Energy and Dr Dominic Ayine as the Attorney General and Minister for Justice-designate.
The vetting of all three nominees is set to follow that of Dr Forson’s.
