Nat Tetteh, the Eastern Regional Deputy Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on appointees of the newly inducted John Mahama administration to prioritise the welfare of Ghanaian youth in their service to the nation.
In posts shared on his Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) pages, Mr Tetteh extended his congratulations to the Mahama administration and expressed confidence in its ability to meet the expectations of the Ghanaian people.
He highlighted the pressing challenges faced by young people, with unemployment being a major concern.
"Appointees of the John Mahama administration must bear in mind the immense hope that the youth of Ghana have entrusted in them and respond accordingly," he wrote. "Our appointees must let the welfare of young people guide their decisions to restore confidence in the dream of a better Ghana."
Mr Tetteh's remarks came following the swearing-in of John Dramani Mahama as the 6th President of the 4th Republic of Ghana at a grand ceremony held at the Black Star Square in Accra.
The event was attended by several distinguished African leaders and international dignitaries, underscoring its significance on the continental stage.
