Experienced football administrator Nana Fitz has launched a scathing attack on the Ghana Football Association for a “stinking” Ghana Premier League.
The country’s top-flight competition has been characterized by several issues in recent years including match-fixing scandal, officiating and hooliganism.
The ongoing league has no headline sponsor and official broadcast right holder.
"Let's not talk about the league, it sticks," he told Asempa FM.
"The truth is, I do not have time to massage the truth when it comes to football. The league is not flourishing because of lack of integrity. The FA has failed us.
"There is no league where administrators of the competition are allowed to participate by owning clubs."
Accra Lions FC had lamented over the deteriorating state of football, having highlighted critical challenges that threaten the future of the sport.
