It was a historic moment as the country’s third arm of government, Parliament, executed one of its critical mandates.
Members of Parliament-elect from the December 7 polls were successfully sworn into the House at midnight on Tuesday, January 7, after which the Speaker and his two deputies were also elected.
Alban Bagbin has been re-elected to preside over the ninth Parliament.
