Accompanying the President-elect will be Vice President-elect, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who will also use the opportunity to acquaint herself with the facilities and environment of her forthcoming official workspace.
The tour is expected to provide valuable insights into the operations of the seat of government, ensuring a seamless transition for the incoming administration.
The agenda includes introductions to key staff members, a review of critical operational facilities, and comprehensive briefings on ongoing initiatives and policies.
This structured approach aims to equip the incoming leadership with the necessary knowledge to continue essential government programmes without disruption.

Such gestures have become an integral part of the nation’s political culture, highlighting its dedication to unity and continuity.
President Akufo-Addo’s term officially concludes on Tuesday, 7th January 2025, when John Dramani Mahama will be inaugurated as Ghana’s new President.
