Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye played a starring role in Saint-Etienne's league win over Reims over the weekend.
The attacking midfielder scored twice in seven minutes to inspire his side to come from a goal down to win 3-1 at home.
Boakye was named in the starting lineup for only the fifth time this season as his side hosted Reims in Ligue 1 on Saturday. The 24-year-old played in a front trio alongside Lucas Stassin and Mathieu Cafaro.
The away side, however, were the first to strike as Keito Nakamura opened the scoring in the 42nd minute of the game.
Reims went into the break as the better side with a deserved lead.
However, the story was different after the break.
Five minutes into the second half, Mickael Nade set up Boakye to draw the game level.
The former WAFA man wasted no time in putting his side ahead seven minutes later as he latched onto Stassin's pass before beating the goalkeeper to make it 2-1.
Ten minutes away from full-time, Stassin also found himself on the scoresheet to make it 3-1 and wrap up the win for Saint-Etienne.
The win saw the club bring an end to their four-game losing run across all competitions and lifted them from the relegation zone.
