Even before the dust settles on the devastating fire at the Kantamanto Market in Accra, fire has gutted a known wood market at Kwadaso in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
Although information on how the fire occurred is scanty, Graphic Online reports that firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service responded to a distress call to fight the fire.
It is not clear the extent of damage caused by the fire, and no casualty has been reported.
