A beneficiary of The Multimedia Group Limited's (MGL) Educare Trust Fund, Roland Asare, has successfully graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Health and Allied Sciences - School of Medicine.
Enrolled in the scheme on September 24, 2018, Roland faced financial difficulties that threatened to derail his medical training.
However, thanks to the timely financial support provided by MGL, along with other benefits of the scheme, Roland was able to complete his six-year medical programme at the university without any financial hindrances.
This support not only alleviated his financial burdens but also motivated him to strive for excellence in his studies. Roland’s determination and dedication to his training have earned him the Best Graduating Pre-Clinical Student Award.
Roland was also part of the first cohort to be inducted into the esteemed profession of Medicine and Dentistry by the Medical and Dental Council. He has now been posted for his first year of housemanship at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
In his letter of appreciation, Roland expressed deep gratitude to MGL for the life-changing support, stating that without the scholarship, his dream of becoming a medical doctor would have remained unattainable.
He conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the honour and privilege granted to him and prayed for the continuous success of the Educare initiative.
“My sincerest gratitude to you for this great privilege and the honour done me. I pray that God replenishes you bountifully and continually sustains this wonderful initiative,” he wrote.
