The finest disc jockeys in Ghana are girding up for this year's 90s Jam slated for Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Pleasant Gardens in Accra.
The DJs on rotation are DJ Black who will be playing hip-hop, house and jungle; Andy Dosty for hiplife and dance music; Iggy for slow jam; DJ Wobeti for R&B and funk, while Nii Ayi Tagoe takes care of reggae and dancehall.
Joy FM’s 90’s Jam is a time machine transporting attendees back to an era of colourful fashion, unforgettable dances, and timeless music.
Guests will dance to the infectious rhythms of Ghanaian icons like Reggie Rockstone, Akyeame, Keteke, Buk Bak, Obrafuor, Tic Tac, Lord Kenya and many others who dominated the airwaves in the ‘90s.
They’ll groove to the legendary sounds of American superstars such as Tupac Shakur, Naughty By Nature, and Notorious BIG, whose tracks became global anthems.
The venue will be transformed into a retro wonderland with neon lights, vintage decor, and 90s-inspired photo booths.
Food and drink vendors will offer a variety of delicacies to keep energy levels high as the night unfolds.
For those who cherished the era of cassette tapes, boomboxes, and MTV, the 90’s Jam is a perfect opportunity to relive those golden days.
For younger generations, it’s a chance to experience firsthand the magic of a decade that revolutionised music and pop culture.
Tickets are selling for 200 cedis via USSD code *714*003*3# or at the front desk of Joy FM, Kokomlemle.
