Samartex and Nations played out a thrilling draw on matchday 15 of the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi on Sunday, December 29.
Solomon Adjei opened the scoring for the Timber Giants after half an hour to put Samartex in the lead.
However, they couldn’t hold onto their lead before the break.
Emmanuel Annor, who was making his debut for Nations FC, leveled the score for the away side.
The two teams pressed for the third goal of the game after the recess but there was little to show for their efforts.
At the end of 90 minutes, there was nothing to separate the two teams with the game ending 1-1.
The result means Samartex end their losing run but see their winless streak being extended.
Nations FC ‘s point means they now sit fourth on the league table after 15 games.
