The Chief Executive Officer of 'Aduro Y3 Herbal', producers of Obuasi bitters, Dr. Collins Amo has once again demonstrated his commitment to giving back to society by donating food items and clothed to over 700 widows in Obuasi.
This donation comes on the heels of several humanitarian works by the young CEO which included including donating the sum of GHs200,000 towards the 'Heal KATH' project, an initiative of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Each of the widows present at the event was given a 5kg-bag of rice, a piece of cloth, and a live chicken for the Christmas festivities.
According to Dr. Collins Amo the donation was part of giving back to society, and also acknowledging the contributions of the people of Obuasi towards the growth and development of the Obuasi bitters brand.
He said Christmas presents an opportunity to show love towards one another.
Hence, the donation was to show love and support to widows who usually go through challenges after the demise of their husbands.
He was optimistic that the donation would go a long way to put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries and their families.
Nana Bosompem Kitikyi Apenteng II, Krontihene of the Adansi-Dompoase Traditional Area, who was th guest of honour at the event commended tbe CEO of Aduro y3 herbal for his commitment towards the growth and development of the society .
He said his consistent supper to humanity leads credence to his commitment to serving his people.
He admonished the public to support local businesses to grow, saying that it is when businesses are on the right track and have peace of mind that they can employ and also undertake their corporate social responsibilities.
The beneficiaries lauded Dr. Amo for his continuous support of the needy and the less privileged in society.
