Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, Mr Ken Ashigbey on Friday joined hundreds to participate in the 2024 edition of the MTN Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols event held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra.
Mr Ken Ashigbey was among the top industry personalities who participated in the event known to be one of the topmost annual Christmas events in Ghana.
Also in attendance was the former CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and Founder of Salt and Light Ministry, Dr Joyce Aryee.
Some management members of MTN who graced the occasion were the Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, and Senior Corporate Communications Manager, Georgina Fiagbenu
The 2024 edition, just like that of the previous years was a joyous occasion as patrons were thrilled by the performances of some of Ghana’s finest artistes, including Kwan Pa, Joe Mettle, Perez Musik, Efya, and Kidi.
This year’s theme focused on an Afrocentric Christmas, emphasizing the values of peace, love, joy, and togetherness. The festival seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, celebrating Ghana’s cultural diversity and highlighting the essence of the festive season.
Dr Joyce Aryee delivered an uplifting word of exaltation, urging attendees to embrace the profound lesson of Christmas: the word becoming flesh and dwelling among us.
Her message encouraged the audience to receive the gift of salvation, allow Jesus to transform their lives, and share the light of God’s presence with others.
