Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will be the guest speaker at Parliament’s 2024 Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Wednesday, December 18, on the premises of Parliament House.
He will represent the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, who disclosed in Parliament on Monday, said the House was compelled to bring its usual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols earlier given the prevailing situation.
“…And it is proposed that it be held on Wednesday on the premises of Parliament House at the usual time; 1800 hours,” he said, adding that invitations had already been extended to dignitaries.
