In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has dispelled rumours suggesting there is tension between him and reggae/dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku.
Responding to why Kinaata did not add Ras Kuuku to his upcoming Made in T'adi' concert, he said the 'Puom Soldier' is not the only artiste that has not been featured on the concert.
This stems from Ras Kuuku's statement that Kofi Kinaata took him off the 'Effiakuma Love' song after they [Kinaata's management] had asked him to send his verse at the initial stage of the production.
Although Kofi Kinaata had explained he was not directly involved in that negotiation and that his manager did not keep him updated on the said feature, Ras Kuuku has expressed strong dissatisfaction for the supposed neglect.
“I don’t have no problems with Ras Kuuku, check the fliers on my page, most artistes are not there too,” he replied to Andy and listeners who sought to know the current state of their relationship.
In the meantime, Kofi Kinaata has announced his upcoming annual concert, Made in T'adi, is happening on December 21, 2024 at the Takoradi Sports Club.
Other artiste on the bill are Samini, Donzi, Dhope Nation, Kwesi Flex, Kwesi Amenuga, among others.
