Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has donated 100 wheelchairs to individuals with physical disabilities in his constituency.

The gesture forms part of his tradition of expressing gratitude to his constituents following every electoral victory.

In a Facebook post on Monday, 16th December, Mr Ablakwa thanked the people of North Tongu for their unwavering support, which secured him a decisive victory in the recent elections.

He pledged to enhance his service and commitment to their welfare over the coming years.

“This weekend, I continued with my tradition of offering a little gesture of appreciation to my beloved constituents immediately after every election victory. Yesterday, I donated 100 wheelchairs to my special constituents,” he wrote.

The MP also reflected on past initiatives, noting that four years ago, he covered the medical expenses of children admitted to the Children’s Ward of the Battor Catholic Hospital.

He reiterated his commitment to maintaining such traditions, stating: “Thank you for our 93.12% victory. I shall serve you better than ever.”
