National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament-elect for Ketu North in the Volta region, Edem Agbana, has expressed strong confidence in President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s capability to lead Ghana towards a path of progress and prosperity.
In an interview with Citi FM on Friday, 13 December, Agbana praised Mahama’s character, vision, and integrity, describing these as key attributes essential for fostering national development.
He stressed Mahama’s leadership experience as a significant advantage for the country’s future.
“President Mahama is returning to office equipped with extensive experience – as a former vice president, a former president, and an opposition leader for eight years,” Agbana remarked.
“This period of reflection has undoubtedly strengthened his resolve and understanding of governance.”
Agbana urged those who will work alongside Mahama to emulate his exemplary leadership and dedication.
He emphasized the pressing need for collective effort to meet the high expectations of Ghanaians, particularly in addressing challenges in youth empowerment, healthcare, infrastructure, and sports development.
“I am confident that President Mahama and the NDC will rise to the occasion and deliver on their promises,” he concluded.
