American singer-songwriter and businesswoman Beyoncé beams with pride over her daughter Blue Ivy's role as she teams up with her in Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King' discussing Blue Ivy's role in
character voice which gets her super emotional to Blue Ivy's performance.
Beyoncé's pride was palpable as she fought back tears discussing her daughter Blue Ivy's involvement in Disney's upcoming film acting as the young lion cub Kiara, Simba and Nala’s daughter in "Mufasa: The Lion King," a prequel that promises to captivate audiences nationwide when it roars into theatres on December 20th.
In an emotional and exclusive behind the scenes video clip shared with Good Morning America this week, Blue Ivy said being a part of “Mufasa” has been like a dream.
“If I, like told my younger self that I was in a movie, I’d never be myself. It’s just a really amazing experience, and I feel like everybody that’s a part of this is so helpful and supportive,“ she said.
In addition to her emotional moment, Beyoncé returns to voice Nala in the new film, having previously lent her voice to the lioness in "The Lion King," alongside Donald Glover, who reprises his role as Simba in both films.
Also in celebration of the film, Disney is supporting the Wildlife Conservation Network's Lion Recovery Fund, an initiative aimed at protecting lion populations and their habitats. By partnering with this important organisation, Disney hopes to raise awareness about the importance of conservation and inspire audiences to take action.
