Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams scored twice for Athletic Bilbao in their 2-0 victory over Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday in Istanbul.
The visitors did not have to wait long to break the deadlock, which was aided by a howler of a back pass from Samet Akaydin.
Gorka Guruzeta capitalized on the error, squaring a pass to Inaki, who slotted it home after just five minutes.
The 30-year-old completed his first-half brace - and his fourth goal of the competition - with a powerful strike that cannoned off the bar and into the net on the stroke of halftime.
Things went from bad to worse for Jose Mourinho's side when Mert Mulder was sent off for receiving a second yellow card after a reckless challenge.
The victory is Bilbao's fifth of the competition, elevating them to the summit of the table with 16 points.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe sit in 15th with eight points and are in danger of failing to advance to the knockout stage.
