President-elect John Dramani Mahama has named Dr Callistus Mahama as the secretary of the 2024 Transition Team.
This high-profile appointment highlights Dr Mahama’s extensive expertise and dedication to public administration and governance, positioning him as a crucial player in ensuring a smooth transfer of power.
As part of the Joint Transition Team, Dr Mahama will serve as the secretary to the 2024 transitional team, a role that highlights his organisational acumen and deep understanding of administrative processes.
His appointment aligns with the provisions of the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), which mandates the creation of a competent team to facilitate the seamless transfer of political power.
