The Ghana Police Service has arrested four individuals in connection with a shooting incident at Nyankpala in the Northern Region that claimed one life and left another person injured.
The suspects, identified as Majid Issah, Fodi Issiage Kamara, Yakubu Simalia, and Alhaji Bashiru Mohamed, were apprehended on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police statement, the suspects are currently in custody and are assisting with ongoing investigations into the tragic incident.
The injured victim is receiving medical treatment, while the body of the deceased has been sent to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The police assured the public that they are committed to uncovering the circumstances surrounding the shooting and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
They also urged the community to remain calm as investigations continue.
