Kow Essuman, the legal advisor to President Nana Akufo-Addo, has expressed confidence in the preparations undertaken ahead of Ghana's general election.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, 7th December 2024, he commended the efforts of all stakeholders involved in ensuring the elections are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Mr Essuman highlighted the extensive work and planning that had gone into the process, emphasising that the nation's democratic institutions and electoral systems are well-prepared to deliver a credible and transparent election.

"We have worked hard and prepared for this election," he stated, underscoring his belief in the ability of the systems to handle the complexities of the polls.
He also lauded the collaboration between various agencies, including the Electoral Commission, security forces, and civil society organisations, in fostering an environment of peace and order.
According to Mr Essuman, such teamwork reflects the resilience of Ghana’s democratic framework and the collective commitment to upholding the will of the people.
Mr Essuman urged citizens to participate peacefully and responsibly, reiterating that the nation's strength lies in its democratic values.
He called on all voters to exercise their civic duty with dignity, ensuring that Ghana continues to serve as a beacon of democracy in Africa.
