Vice President of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has positioned himself as the leader capable of leading Ghana towards a prosperous future, contrasting his forward-thinking vision with what he calls the outdated policies of former President John Dramani Mahama.
He emphasised that the nation needs a leader who embraces innovation and progress to continue the work already underway by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking at the NPP’s final rally in preparation for the December 7 elections, Dr Bawumia highlighted the significance of the choice facing Ghanaians in the upcoming polls.
He made it clear that this election represents a decision between a forward-looking, progressive agenda and a return to the past.
“This election is a clear choice between the future and the past,” Dr Bawumia declared. “My opponent stands for the past, while I, Dr Bawumia, represent the future of our nation. This is the time to choose wisely for the sake of our children and future generations.”
Dr Bawumia underscored that the NPP’s policies, which focus on economic transformation, infrastructure development, and opportunities for the youth, are the way forward for Ghana.
He urged the electorate to vote for a leader who understands the challenges facing the country and has a clear plan to move it forward.
He concluded his address by reinforcing the importance of the vote, stating that it was a pivotal moment for Ghana’s future. “The NPP is driven by a mindset of possibilities,” Dr Bawumia said.
“We are committed to making Ghana an advanced nation, and with your support, we can continue building a brighter future for all.”
