Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed confidence in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) victory in Saturday’s election.
He cited the party’s achievements over the past eight years as the foundation for the impending success.
Speaking at the NPP’s final rally at the University of Ghana, Legon, Dr Bawumia emphasized the government’s commitment to solving problems and transforming lives.

“Sometimes, it is important to remind ourselves because we are a problem-solving government. Nana Akufo-Addo, over the last eight years, has demonstrated this. We have been solving problems,” he said on Thursday, December 5.
Dr Bawumia highlighted key accomplishments, including the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy, which has increased access to education and improved performance among students.
“When we came into power, for every 100 boys, there were only 68 girls in Senior High School. Today, there are more girls than boys in SHS,” he added.
He urged supporters to back the NPP for a future of possibilities, contrasting his party’s vision with what he described as the opposition’s focus on the past.
“The choice is simple – are we going into the future with a mindset of possibilities, or are we going into the past with a mindset of ‘nkukɔ nkitikiti’?” he asked.
Dr Bawumia rallied party supporters to turn out in large numbers on election day to ensure victory.
