President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed full confidence in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s readiness to lead Ghana, asserting that the Vice President is well-prepared to take the country forward.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) final rally at UG, Legon in the Greater Accra Region on Thursday, 5th December, President Akufo-Addo assured Ghanaians that Dr Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the upcoming elections, is the right leader to continue the progress the nation has made under his leadership.
According to President Akufo-Addo, Dr Bawumia’s extensive experience, both in the public sector and as an economist, makes him uniquely qualified to tackle the country’s challenges and drive development.
He praised Dr Bawumia’s contributions to the economic management team, particularly his role in the successful implementation of policies that stabilized the country’s economy after the NDC administration.
"Dr Bawumia has shown that he has the vision, knowledge, and leadership to steer this country towards prosperity,” President Akufo-Addo said.
“He is the person who can take Ghana to the next level.” The President highlighted the NPP’s achievements under his administration, including the Free Senior High School programme, the expansion of healthcare infrastructure, and efforts to improve the business environment.
President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP and Dr Bawumia to ensure continued stability and progress.
He assured the electorate that the NPP is committed to securing a brighter future for the nation, stressing that Dr Bawumia’s leadership will build upon the successes of the current government and address the country’s remaining challenges.
