Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has been appointed to officiate the CAF Champions League group stage match between MC Alger and Yanga SC at the Stade du 5 Juillet in Algiers.
Laryea is regarded as one of the top Ghanaian referees, having officiated in various tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations, CHAN, and CAF Women's Champions League.
He was included in the FIFA Referees list in 2014 and has established himself as one of the leading officials on the continent.
Meanwhile, both teams will be vying for a win to improve their chances of advancing in the group stage.
MC Alger began their group stage campaign with a 1-1 draw against TP Mazembe, while Yanga SC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Sudanese giants Al Hilal.
The upcoming clash is scheduled for December 7.
