President Nana Akufo-Addo has endorsed Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the most suitable candidate to lead Ghana in the 2024 elections.
Dr Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was described by the president as a leader with exceptional qualities and the vision to advance the nation.
Addressing stakeholders in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region, on Saturday, 30 November, President Akufo-Addo highlighted Dr Bawumia’s leadership capabilities and impressive track record.
He noted that the vice president possesses the skills and expertise required to steer Ghana into the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ensure sustainable development.
“Dr Bawumia’s qualifications and leadership attributes are unparalleled,” the president stated, adding that his ability to address Ghana’s challenges makes him a superior candidate for the presidency.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized that among the leading contenders in the 2024 elections, Dr Bawumia stands out as the best choice to succeed him as the sixth president of the Fourth Republic.
The president further explained that Dr Bawumia’s focus on innovation and technological advancement aligns with Ghana’s aspirations for growth in a rapidly evolving global landscape. He urged the public to support the NPP’s candidate, who he believes will deliver on promises and drive progress in key sectors.
