Ghana attacker Mohammed Kudus' stunning solo strike against Freiburg has been nominated for the 2024 Puskás Award by FIFA.
The 24-year-old scored the goal during West Ham’s 5-0 victory over the German club in the round of 16 of the Europa League in March 2024.
With the Hammers leading 3-0, the Black Stars attacking midfielder collected the ball inside his side's half and embarked on a Lionel Messi-esque solo run, beating three Freiburg players before smashing the ball into the net.
