Thousands of Christians pray for Bawumia at Hebron Prayer Camp

Thousands of worshipers at Hebron Prayer Camp at Medie, near Accra, have embarked on special prayers for Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The congregation, which has been undertaking its annual fasting and prayers, welcomed Dr. Bawumia to their fold on Tuesday morning when the Vice President and his entourage paid them a visit.

Led by its head pastor Pastor Frank Donkor, the congregation which gave Dr. Bawumia a rousing reception, also offered him what they described as intense prayers, for God's favours in next month's Presidential election.

Before ushering in the prayers, Pastor Frank Donkor, expressed gratitude to Dr. Bawumia for his visit, describing it as special.

"Since we started this fasting and prayers, no leader of this magnitude has been here. It is only Dr. Bawumia who has been here and he has asked for our support and prayers. So are we not going to pray for him?" asked the head pastor.

The congregation responded in excitement before they all joined the leadership of the church to pray.

Addressing the congregation, Dr. Bawunia expressed gratitude to them for the warm welcome and prayers, as well as praying for the country.

He also reiterated his firm belief in the will of God, insisting that "with God, all things are possible," as he seeks to be elected and serve as the new President of Ghana.
