The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called on Ghanaians to vote out the New Patriotic Party (NPP), following the economic hardship created by its government.
She said the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Mahama, is the only candidate with the requisite experience to get Ghanaians out of the economic mess created by the government.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang said this during a community engagement at Akokwaa in the Agona East Constituency as part of her campaign tour of the Central Region.
She stated that the next NDC administration would implement policies and programmes such as the 24-Hour Economy, the Women’s Development Bank, the National Apprenticeship Programme and the Big Push to bring relief to Ghanaians.
She said voting out the NPP government on December 7 is a call to national duty and urged the electorate, including first-time voters, to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang described Mr Mahama as a visionary leader who is committed to the well-being of Ghanaians.
