As part of President Akufo-Addo’s ongoing three-day tour of the Ashanti Region, the region’s paramount chiefs have expressed their gratitude to the President for his contributions to the area’s development.
They thanked him for ensuring that the region has benefited from national development projects during his time in office.
The chiefs acknowledged that under President Akufo-Addo’s leadership, the Ashanti Region has received a fair share of the country’s resources, which has helped improve infrastructure and promote growth.
They also highlighted the President’s efforts to promote regional development as a key part of his government’s policy.
On Tuesday, November 26, President Akufo-Addo responded by extending his own appreciation to the chiefs for their support and cooperation over the years.
He acknowledged that the success of the region’s development was due to the partnership between the government and the traditional leadership.
The chiefs also spoke highly of the President’s appointments from the Ashanti Region, noting that several individuals from the area have been given key positions in his administration.
They praised the President and his appointees for their hard work and dedication to improving the region, emphasising the positive impact these contributions have had on Asanteman.
