The grand finale of the second edition of the biggest tertiary culinary contest on Joy Prime, Big Chef Tertiary, is finally here, and the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, is set to host the event.
Happening on Sunday, December 1, 2024, all four finalists; Koforidua, Takoradi, Ho, and Kumasi Technical Universities are expected to converge at the Kumasi Technical University’s Great Hall for the much-awaited culinary battle.
All four universities are equally gearing up towards the final clash, as they prepare to put up their best performances to impress the judges of the day.
Known for their supportive and fun nature, the residents of Kumasi, also known as ‘Oseikrom,’ are ready to go all out and receive the contestants and the whole team with excitement.
The winning school takes home a brand new 4-burner gas range courtesy of Integas Kitchen, a brand new table fridge, a brand new microwave, a certificate of participation, a whopping 20,000 cash prize and products from our sponsors.
Performances for the night include, rapper Strongman, Kobby Tuesday, Sandy Global, and BadBoi Ty, amongst other exciting activities on grounds.
