MultiChoice Ghana has announced a strategic dealership agreement with the Ghana Hotels Association, aimed at enhancing the entertainment experience for hotel guests nationwide.
This collaboration will provide hotels, lodges, and guest houses across Ghana with access to premium local and international content from DStv, ensuring a high-quality in-room entertainment experience for guests.
The partnership reflects MultiChoice Ghana’s commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment while supporting the growth of the hospitality and tourism sector in Ghana.
Under the agreement, members of the Ghana Hotels Association will enjoy exclusive packages and tailored solutions specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the hospitality industry.
These solutions will make it easier for members to acquire DStv for Business installations and customize packages for various types of hospitality facilities, including budget hotels in remote areas.
“This means even a budget hotel in the remotest part of Ghana can now attract more business by delivering a high-quality in-room entertainment experience with DStv for Business,” a statement from the partners emphasized.
Alex Okyere, Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, expressed excitement about the partnership:
“We are excited to partner with the Ghana Hotels Association to bring world-class entertainment to hotel guests. This agreement reflects our dedication to innovation and excellence in service delivery.”
The President of the Ghana Hotels Association, Dr. Edward Ackah-Nyamike Jr., also highlighted the positive impact of the collaboration:
“This collaboration with MultiChoice Ghana will significantly enhance the guest experience in our member hotels, providing them with a diverse range of entertainment options.
"Plus, the sector will now be in a better position to compete for international clientele since they can serve them top-notch local and international news, sports, documentaries, movies, and general entertainment shows 24/7.”
The agreement, signed in October, takes effect immediately, with both parties looking forward to a productive and enduring partnership.
